June, July, and August 2020 Newsletter

https://www.infotopia.info/newsletters/June_July_Aug_2020_Infotopia.pdf

We just published our summer/winter newsletter, depending on your hemisphere.  This month's newsletter includes resources about the following:

Primary Sources:  Do you want your students to study primary sources by reading diaries, listening to speeches, discovering oral histories, viewing historical images, and more?

Free MP3 Audiobooks:  One of our favorite literature web sites is Lit2Go, a free online collection of stories, books and poetry in MP3 audiobook format.

Our New Look at Infotopia:  Try the full-screen format to see some amazing photos.

Help! How can my students practice their newly acquired Spanish while school is out--Try our recommendations.

Why Should I Read? TEDEd has produced 80+ incredible 5-minute animated videos about why you should read a range of authors or books.

Is Copyright Really That Important? Did you know that a large school district in Texas was recently found guilty of copying and distributing copyrighted study guides?  Check out our links for resources on copyright.

Are you looking for online videos to use with your classes? TeacherTopia has a great little search engine to find videos for classroom use.

Please share with your colleagues!  As you know Infotopia, Kidtopia, VirtualLRC, and Infotrek are free custom Google search engines, created and managed by Dr. Michael and Carole Bell, a husband-wife team with more than 35 years of teaching/librarian experience.  (Yet, we are still very young!)

We have just created a Patreon page in case you want to become a patron of Infotopia and our other search engines.  There are all sorts of benefits for the three tiers:  an Infotopia Insider, a VIP patron, or a Diamond patron.  Or, if you really appreciate us,  just make a one-time donation via Patreon.
