Our June 2017 Infotopia Newsletter is now online as a PDF.

This month's issue focuses on how to prevent the "summer slide" and links to summer reading and activities for both students and adults.  As promised, our new YouTube video, "Amazing Google Search Tips You Never Knew About!" is now online, with suggestions about how to use Google Search, Google Search Operators, Advanced Google Search, Advanced Image Search and many other ways to use Google search in the search box on Infotopia, Infotrek, or Kidtopia.  Finally, we included some summer activities from Kidtopia for students in grades PK-4.  Have a great June!

Our March 2017 Infotopia/Kidtopia Newsletter is now online as a PDF. This month's issue, which includes resources for geography, has ideas about how students can compare demographics for different countries around the world. For example, which country has the youngest population?  Which country has the most cell phones? Which country has the largest population?
This month's issue has a link to a Chrome extension that you can use to add your local libraries to your Amazon or Goodreads account.  You will be able to find out if audiobooks or ebooks are available locally at your library while on Amazon or Goodreads, and then check out the items! Try it out!

Of course, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday, so check out our links to ideas to celebrate Dr. Seuss and all his books. 
In this month's issue, Kidtopia links to many great resources on drawing, painting and creating your own comics.

Our February 2017 Infotopia/Kidtopia Newsletter is now online. 
To celebrate Valentine's Day, this month's issue includes recommended web sites on the circulatory system and the human heart.  It also includes recommended sources to help students distinguish between "fake" news and real news.  We included links to our most popular educational YouTube videos, dinosaur resources for elementary students, and finally, we included recommended primary resources in the form of digital images and digital documents from the Digital Public Library of America, the New York Public Library and the Library of Congress.

January 2017 Infotopia/Kidtopia Newsletter

Happy New Year!  Our January 2017 Infotopia/Kidtopia Newsletter is now online.  It's hard to believe it, but this is the beginning of the seventh year of our PDF newsletters. 

As you may know, we were both teachers and librarians and now that we are retired, we provide our search engines at no cost to our users.  Thanks for all your support.
